Thread Forming Screw is designed for metal sheet ,it is made of high tensile strength carbon steel with zinc plated . the end of thread forming screw is formed triangle shape , this design ensures the screw is not backing out after installed , the angle of threads is 60 degrees or 55 degrees .
Thread forming screw needs a pre-drilling hole as it is machine thread style , screw will cut a hole with same threads as it is when thread forming screw is been rotating into hole ; Do not need a nut to secure the screw to avoid screw back out ; it is very convenient and cost-efficient .
