Stainless steel pop rivet is also known as blind rivet that with pulling through mandrel and a round head close end , is used to rivet working pieces in various fields , stainless steel blind rivet is comprised of rivet body and mandrel .
Stainless steel pop rivet must to be installed by a riveting gun , when stainless steel pop rivet is inserted into a joint from one side , pull the head of the mandrel into rivet body for expanding and flared against reverse side , mandrel will snap at break point when it reaches the face of the blind side .
Before Installing a pop rivet , there is a important factor “grip range ” to be confirmed that is the total thickness of material to be jointed
