Immersion suit is a waterproof dry suit that protects the wearer from hypothermia from immersion in cold water, when abandoning a sinking or capsized vessel. 

The CE/CCS approved  marine immersion suit type 1, is a special type of waterproof dry suit that protects a person from hypothermia when immersed in cold waters, usually after abandoning a sinking or capsized vessel. The way actually an immersion suit works, is to maintain the body heat within the suit and keeping the user dry from the cold water.  

Immersion suit is designed to have a bright color in order to be highly visible from a long distance and to provide comfortable movement to the user in order to abandon safely the vessel.

It is made of polyester fabric with foam, Aluminium foil, liner, water proof zipper ,SOLAS grade reflective tape, waist belt with stainless steel D ring.  rubber sole.

It have a buoyancy pillow behind, so no need to wear additional life jacket to provide buoyancy.
