Telecom Backup Power System Operation
The backup power system operates through a dedicated 220V mains circuit. During normal operation, the system processes power through rectifier modules to output 48V DC power. The rectifier modules simultaneously charge the battery system to maintain backup power readiness.
During power failures, the battery system provides continuous DC power to ensure uninterrupted operation. The battery management system (BMS) automatically cuts off the power supply circuit when battery voltage drops too low, protecting battery lifespan and performance.
Communication Module Details
RS232 Communication: The battery system transmits parameters, alarm status, protection information, and module settings via RS232 interface at 1200bps. RS232 communication is only active when the DIP switch is set to Pack1 (Master Pack) mode.
RS485 Communication: In parallel battery pack configurations, the main battery pack communicates with other packs and PC systems via RS485 interface for comprehensive system monitoring.
