Government First Utility Smart Meter Digital Electric Meter Remote Control
The CA168-M is a state-of-the-art smart electricity meter, newly upgraded for utility applications. It integrates high-precision energy measurement with non-wired communication capabilities and flexible billing methods. This single-phase, two-wire watt-hour meter can operate in prepayment or post-credit (post-paid) modes, with the payment mode selectable via commands from the back-end server. Utilities have the flexibility to implement various contractual billing controls tailored to consumer needs.
The CA168-M features a modular design incorporating a plug-in module for data collection and communication. This enables utilities to select the most suitable PLC, RF, GPRS, 3G or 4G LTE cellular network based on local infrastructure conditions, significantly reducing operational costs. Furthermore, upgrades and maintenance are more economical as only the communication modules need replacing, rather than the entire meter unit.
