The CA168 is a one-phase two-wire meter designed with your safety in mind! It's built with up to 16kV/8kA surge protection, making it perfect for the unique African and South American environment prone to lightning or other line surges. This lovely little meter is finished in a compact BS footprint mounting enclosure of flame retardant polycarbonate, with 30Vm withstand of RF immunity, allowing it to be installed in very harsh environments. This handy little meter is perfect for use in both residential and light commercial settings, as well as for tenant submetering.

The CA168 is fully compliant with IEC standards for accuracy metrology, and it's compatible with DLMS/COSEM standards for communication technology. It uses power line carrier of BPSK FSK narrow band PLC communication for data exchange and automated meter reading.
