Din Rail Smart Electric Meters Remote Control Single Phase Watt Hour Meter

The CA168-S is a 35 mm Din Rail mounting one phase two wire smart electric meter. It is built for applications of limit space but sound AMR/AMI facilities. The meter operates with broad metrology range as 5(60)A (80A on request), and -40% ~+30% V and maintains the rugged RF immunity withstand of 30Vm, ideal for residential, light commercial and industrial applications in very harsh and unstable grid supply areas.

The CA168 -S operates in two parts. A customer interface unit (CIU),  and a metering and control unit (MCU). A CIU is a tactile and audible keypad based display installed within consumers homes wherever there is a electrical socket. A MCU is the main meter,  installed away from consumer's home in a pavement kiosk, meter box or a pole-mounted enclosure .MCU communicates with CIU via wireless communication such as Power Line Carrier (PLC), Radio Frequency(RF), and LoRa.  This wireless features makes the MCU immune to any tamper with the CIU and at the same time facilitates the utility and service provider's inspection with no need entering consumers' premises.
