The CA568 operates with a hydraulical ball valve driven by low power usage motor and shuts off when water units finish. The lithium battery has working life up to 5 years and is replacable by authorized technicians. There is a non-return valve at inlet of the meter to prevent back flow. Double inside strainers can filter small particles such as drift, dust and pipe line rust to protect the core counter. CIU means customer interface unit. It is a 3x4 button keypad with LCD display to be installed within customer's house. It connects with the water meter outdoors via RF / LORA wireless communication. CIU is used for recharge token input and info check. This split type design greatly reduce the tamper on meter side.
