Product Introduction:
Polyvinyl chloride is a polymer formed by free polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer under specific conditions. It has the characteristics of stability, acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance. It has a wide range of applications in building materials, daily necessities, pipelines, wires and cables, and sealing materials.
Divided into soft and hard: soft are mainly used to make packaging materials, agricultural films, etc., and are widely used in the manufacture of wire and cable insulation.
Such as: ordinary PVC insulated power cables; and rigid ones are generally used to make pipes and plates.
PVC Compound for Generic Cable
Good processing technology, suitable to various cables.
The standard finish of all cables consists of an extruded black PVC oversheath, the external surface of which is embossed with the appropriate legend.
The oversheath PVC grade is usually Type TM 1 or Type 9 to BS 7655 although other grades, e.g., Type 5 (85°C Hard) PVC or PVC sheath with anti-termite properties can be provided when specified. The PVC grade is ST2 for cables conforming to IEC 60502- 1 standard.
