VISUAL TESTING (VT) Is the observation, either directly or indirectly (remotely), of a specimen by an Inspector in such a fashion as to determine the presence or absence of surface discontinuities or irregularities.

The weld gauge is mainly composed of main ruler, height ruler, undercut depth ruler and multi-purpose ruler. It is a welding inspection gauge used to measure various groove angles, heights, widths, gaps and undercut depth of weldments. It is applicable to the measurement and inspection of boilers, bridges, shipbuilding, pressure vessels and oil field pipelines. It is also suitable for measuring parts with high welding quality requirements.
