Operation Instructions
Measuring Density Values
- Connect to power and press POWER button - display shows "-.--" (5-minute warm-up required)
- Press measuring arm without sample - display shows "E.1"
- Hold measuring arm down while pressing red Zero Setting button - display shows "0.00"
- Release measuring arm - instrument ready for measurement
- Align sample with aperture and press measuring arm - density value displayed
Sample Observation
Turn on the lower left light to illuminate trichromatic fluorescent lights inside the instrument for sample observation.
Important Usage Notes
- Keep away from dust, humidity, alkaline/acid substances, and magnetic fields
- Use cohesive tape to remove aperture diaphragm for cleaning with writing brush
- Do not remove factory-installed cohesive tape from aperture diaphragm
- Keep density tablet clean - use only for instrument calibration verification
- Out-of-range measurements still provide reference data value
Each densimeter includes a precision density tablet for accuracy verification and calibration.
