- Chemical Composition:
- Chromium (Cr): 21%
- Aluminum (Al): 4%
- Iron (Fe): Balance (with trace impurities ≤0.15% C, ≤1.0% Mn, ≤1.0% Si).
- Standards Compliance:
- DIN 17470 (Germany)
- ASTM A580 (USA)
- ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing.
Key Features & Performance:
- High-Temperature Resistance:
- Operates continuously up to 1250°C (2282°F).
- Short-term peak temperatures up to 1350°C without structural degradation.
- Oxidation & Corrosion Resistance:
- Forms a stable Al2O3 + Cr2O3 oxide layer at high temperatures, preventing rust and chemical attack in oxidizing environments (e.g., air, water vapor, sulfur-rich gases).
- Electrical Resistivity:
- 1.50 μΩ·m at 20°C, ensuring efficient heat generation with minimal energy loss.
- Low Thermal Drift:
- Maintains ±1.5% resistance stability from 20°C to 1100°C, ideal for precision heating systems.
- Mechanical Strength:
- Tensile Strength: ≥600 MPa
- Elongation: ≥18% (ASTM E8 tested)
Applications:
- Industrial Heating Systems:
- Electric furnaces for metal heat treatment, glass melting, and ceramic sintering.
- Industrial ovens for coating, drying, and curing processes.
- Laboratory Equipment:
- High-temperature test chambers, calibration furnaces, and sample heating devices.
- Specialized Use Cases:
- Automotive Exhaust Systems: Preheating catalysts in emission control units.
