PTFE coated fabric combines the easy release and heat resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene (a.k.a. PTFE) with the strength and dimensional stability of fiberglass. PTFE coated fabric, also referred to as coated fabric, is ideally suited for a variety of demanding industrial applications.

Dimensionally stable at temperatures from -100° to 550°F (-73° to 288°C), Ptfe fiberglass mesh belt is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and is FDA compliant (21 CFR 177.1550) for use in food processing, packaging, and handling. Made from nonwoven fiberglass cloth that has been coated with PTFE, it provides exceptional durability and extremely low elongation (<1%).

Its PTFE coating provides with numerous performance-enhancing characteristics. PTFE fabric offers a very low coefficient of friction, high heat resistance, hydrophobic properties, and excellent dielectric properties. It is also chemically inert. These qualities make fabrics ideal for a broad spectrum of applications.
