0.9mm White Polyurethane PU Coated Fiberglass Cloth For Welding Blanket
 
This fabric is made from woven fiber glass cloth and then coated with white polyurethane coating on both sides. Total weight of this PU coated glass fabric is 900g/m2. Basic cloth is 8HS fiberglass fabric. It is 600g/m2 and 0.6mm thick. When coated with 150g/m2 PU coating each side, totally weight per unit can be 900gsm, and thickness will be 0.9mm.
 
Usually common coated fiberglass fabric like silicone/PVC coated fabric can be used below 260℃. While PU coating can work under instantaneous temperature up to 1100 degree Celsius. So it is very suitable for welding protection, good for fire blanket/curtain. Whats's more, PU coated fiberglass fabric also have good properties like chemical resistance, high strength, non itchy, colorful coating.

8HS Satin Weave:
 
The eight harness satin is similar to the four harness satin. One weft yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. This is a flexible weave and common application of this weave type is for forming over curved surfaces.
 
666 fiberglass fabric is a heavy duty basic cloth and is usually used for fire blanket. When coatded with PU coating(PU coating can resist 1100℃ for a short time), this coated 666 fabric is very suitable for welding blanket. Especially for welding splash protection.
