E-Glass Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is manufactured by cutting raw glass fiber filaments into 50mm lengths, randomly distributing them evenly across a mesh belt, and bonding them with powder or emulsion binder through heating and curing processes.

Fiberglass chopped strand mat requires approximately 1.5 to 2 times its own weight in resin for complete saturation. For example: 1LB of chopped strand mat needs 1.5 to 2 LBS of resin. Most resins weigh approximately 9.5 LBS per gallon.
