3732 15oz 0.5mm Grey PU Coated Fiberglass Cloth For Welding Curtain
UPPE-8732D30 is woven 3732 fiberglass cloth substrate which has been coated on both two sides with a specially compounded grey polyurethane coating. Weave type of base cloth is satin(cross twill) weave. When coated with 40g/m2 grey PU coating each side, totally weight per unit is 510gsm, and thickness will be 0.5mm.
PU coated fiberglass cloth has a special property: usually common coated fiberglass fabric like silicone/PVC/PTFE coated fabric should be used below 260℃. While PU coating is able to resisting instantaneous temperature up to 1100℃. So it is very suitable to used for welding sparks/splash shield products, also great for fire blanket/curtain. Coated fiberglass fabric also have some special properties like chemical corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, waterproof, high strength, not itchy when touch, different colors.
