Black Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric For Thermal Insulation Blanket

 
 
Silicone coated fiberglass cloth is produced from woven fiberglass basic cloth which has been coated with or impregnated with black silicone/rubber on single side or both sides. Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a flexible but very high tensile strength fire resistant fabric. It keeps the advantages of e-glass fiberglass basic fabric, such as fire resistance, dimension stability, durability and chemical corrosion resistance.
 

The basic fiberglass fabric is 3732 which is able to withstanding high temperature below 550℃. But the black rubber/silicone coating can resist 260℃. And base on the features of silicone coating, this coated fiberglass cloth are usually used to produce industrial products such as fire blankets and curtains, expansion joints, thermal insulation jacket/exhaust blanket for valve/pump/pipeline and other fire fighting equipments.
 
Yarn type of basic cloth 3732 is e-glass G37 1/0 0.7Z fiber glass yarns. Weight per unit area of this fabric is 430g/m2. Its total weight including silicone coating will be 510g/m2. 430g/m2+80g/m2 black silicone coating on one side. Common and convenient width we produce is 100cm, 127cm, 155cm.
