Its basic materials - fiberglass fabric can resist a temperature below 550℃. But the PTFE coating can be used  between -70℃ to 260℃, max can be 380℃. But during common cooking, the temperature is usually below 200℃. So it is totally safe to use this PTFE coated gas range protectors when cooking. Thickness of black sheet is 0.08mm. Outside size of this stovetop liner is standard 27x27cm. Middle hole size 4cm is adjustable by cutting.
