Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabrics are made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber. Fiberglass fabric is a widely used industrical materials with high strength and fire resistance. For this 7628 silicone coated fabric, weight of basic cloth is 200g/m2, then coated with 40g/m2 silicone/rubber on both sides. The temperature of basic fiberglass fabric is below 550℃. And the silicone rubber coating can resist temperature below 260℃.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is heat resistant, flexible and also high strength. Base on the properties of both fiberglass fabric and silicone coating, this coated fiberglass cloth is suitable for for fabric expansion joints or fabric connector, thermal insualtion/electrical insulation exhaust blanket for pump/electric generator, anti corrosion protection for pipeline.
