480g/m2 Heat Reflective Aluminized Fiberglass Cloth / Silver Coated Fabric
Basic fabric of this aluminized fiberglass cloth is 430g/m2 0.4mm woven fiberglass fabric. This basic cloth has been laminated with a layer of aluminium foil by a high temperature adhersive. So the total weight is 480g/m2. Thickness is 0.43mm.
This base fiberglass fabric is able to resist a temperatures ranging from -100° F to 1022° F. Aluminiul foil can be used below 1220°F/660℃. And the special adhersive here will melt above 300℃. Actually it can resist short exposure to higher heat.
Aluminized fiberglass cloth, silver coated fabric is widely used as thermal insulation cover for steam heating pipes, heat insulation materials in construction. It has excellent features of fireproof, chemical corrosion resistant, heat resistant and sound absorbability.
