3K carbon fiber fabric is woven of carbon fibers 3k yarns in unidirectional, plain and twill weaving. Carbon fiber cloth is a fire resistant, durable, tear resistant and fatigue resistant fabric. Carbon fabric is able to reach the same tensile strength as metals but it is more light weight. What's more, carbon fiber cloth is easily wet out by most common used resins.
Because of the stable physical and chemical properties, carbon fiber cloth is mainly used for surface decoration and engineering reinforcement.
