Silicone coated fiberglass cloth is woven from e-glass fiberglass yarns in plain weave, then heavily coated with grey silicone. The silicone coated fiberglass fabric is weighed at 360gsm and it is 0.25mm thick. It basic cloth is common style 7628 fiberglass fabric(200gsm, 0.2mm).
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is high strength, heat resistant, abrasion resistant and resisting most acid. This durable fabric is used widely for thermal insualtion and electrical insulation application including industrial hoses and lines, fuel & oil pipe protection, wires/cables/tube for insulation purpose. Silicone coating is also ozone, UV and abrasion and it is with long working life.
