6oz fiberglass fabric is widely used for boat/yacht building and repairs. Its plain weave delivers well-distributed strength in both two directions, meanwhile it cost less resins. Twill weave makes different surface effects.
Fiberglass cloth is a high strength, reusable and fire resistant materials for engineering usages. 4oz, 6oz and 8oz e-glass fiberglass fabric is especially used for surfboard manufacture. Common width 80cm and 100cm of 6oz fabric can meet most needs.
6oz 0.2mm fiberglass cloth also can be used for heat insulation, septic tank, swimming pool and bath tub production. But it is still one of the series fabric: 4oz 6oz 8oz, 7628, which is specialized for sports products such as the snowboard, surfboard and skimboard.
