Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric Actuator Thermal Insulation Jackets Materials

Thermal insulation jacket(or exhaust blanket) is designed to cover the actuator, valve, pipeline or pump, protect them from fire, heat and cold damage. This insulation jacket is a sandwich structure: two layer of silicone coated fiberglass fabric+needle mat. The wadding materials between silicone coated fabric are e-glass fiberglass needle mat, which can be used below 800℃. Fiberglass fabric and needle mat are fire resistant, high tensile strength, durable and chemical resistant. Also, fiberglass fabric and mat are eco-friendly materials. It is no pollution and can be recycled.
 
This jacket is opened with fire retardant velcro so that it is easy to remove and repair. The working temperature of fiberglass cloth is below 550℃, while silicone coating is 260℃. Inside fiberglass needle mat is able to resist 800℃.

Test result: When the temperature in the jackets went up to 300℃, showed the surface temperature of the jacket is 32℃.
