Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric Actuator Thermal Insulation Jackets Materials

Thermal insulation jacket(also can be called exhaust blanket) is designed to protect actuator, valve or pipe from fire and cold damage. With this insulation jacket, the inside high temperature air won't influence the work. The surface temperature of the jacket will be controlled at a low level so worker can touch the surface at any time. The jacket is a sandwich design: two layer of silicone coated fiberglass fabric, the wadding materials between silicone coated fabric are fiberglass needle mat. Fiberglass fabric and fiberglass needle mat are both heat resistant, durable and anti chemical agents. Also, they are eco-friendly materials, which means totally no pollution and can be recycled.
 
This jacket can be opened with fire retardant velcro. By this way, it is easy to remove to repair. The working temperature of fiberglass cloth is below 550℃, while silicone coating is -50 to 260℃. Inside layer--fiberglass needle mat is able to resist 800℃ heat.

IR Test result showed that when the temperature inside the jacket goes up to 300℃, the surface temperature of the jacket is 32℃.
