35oz High Silica Fabric 1.3mm Cross Twill Thermal Insulation Fiberglass Cloth
High silica fabric is fiberglass fabric which is treated with acid treatment and calcination, so the SiO2 content will be more than 96%. The basic cloth is 850g/m2 and 0.8mm, adter post treatments this fabric will be 600g/m2 and 0.7mm. Except for SiO2 content, the treatment also improve the thermal insulation property so the fabric has higher softening point and higher density. Softening point of this 35oz/1200g/m2 high silica fabric is close to 1700℃. Working temperature of this fabric is below 1200℃ (continuously).
High silica fabric is a high strength, durable, chemical and oil resistant material with stable physical/chemical properties. It is widely used for fire, welding blanket, thermal insulation sealing application and other heat resistant covering.
