Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a woven e-glass fiberglass fabric coated with grey or other colors silicone coating on one side or both sides. Fiberglass fabric is better than common fabric in tensile strength and fire resistance. This 1500g/m2, 44oz silicone coated fiberglass fabric is two side coated 125/125 gsm. Basic cloth is 1250gsm. It is high density and heavy duty.
Silicone coated fiberglass cloth has properties such as electrical insulation, fire resistance and abrasion resistance. The basic 1250g/m2 fiberglass fabric is able to withstand heat below 550℃ continuously and silicone coating can be used below 260℃.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is widely used in industrial fields. It can be used to produce fire or welding blanket, auto heat insulation part, fabric expansion joints and removable insulation jacket(with fiberglass needle mat).
