This silicone coated fiberglass fabric is e-glass 1250g basic fiberglass fabric coated with grey silicone coating on two sides. Fiberglass fabric is durable and fire resistant. Silicone coating improved its properties. Total weight of this coated fiber glass cloth is 1500g/m2, 44oz. Coating weight is 125 gsm per side. This fabric is very high density and heavy duty.
Except for fire resistance, silicone coated fiberglass cloth also has properties like electrical insulation, anti chemical agents and abrasion resistance. The basic fiberglass cloth is able to withstand heat below 550℃ continuously, silicone coating can be used below 260℃.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is used for industrial application widely. It is material of fire, welding blanket, auto engine heat insulation part, fabric expansion joints and insulation jacket.
