Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is an e-glass satin weave fiberglass fabric coated with grey silicone per side. Fiberglass fabric is high tensile strength and heat resistance material. This 1550g/m2, 45.7oz/yd2 silicone coated fiberglass fabric is two side coated 125/125 gsm. Basic cloth is 1300gsm. It is a heavy duty and abrasion resistant fabric which is widely used for thermal insulation applications.
Silicone coated fiberglass cloth owns properties like electrical insulation, heat resistance, chemical resistant and abrasion resistance. The basic fiberglass fabric can withstand heat below 550℃ continuously and silicone coating can be used below 260℃ day after day.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is widely used in industrial fields. It can be used to produce fire or welding blanket, auto heat insulation part, fabric expansion joints and removable insulation jacket (with fiberglass needle mat).
