580gsm 17oz 3732 Red Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric Pipe Heat Insulation
Basic of this silicone coated fabric is woven e-glass fiberglass cloth. It is 3732 fabric in satin weaving type. When coated with 75g/m2 red silicone on one side or both two sides, it is 580g/m2 and 0.55mm thick.
E-glass fiberglass fabric is fire and heat resistant, oil, chemical resistant and high tensile strength. Silicone coating provides better electrical insulation property.
The basic cloth 3732 fiberglass fabric is capable of withstanding heat below 550℃ continuously. Silicone coating can resist heat below 260℃. Silicone coated fiberglass fabrics are mainly used for fire/welding blanket, fabric expansion joints, pipe protective cover, hot tunnel curtains and removable thermal insulation jacket materials.
