580g 0.45mm Red Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric For Thermal Insulation Jacket
0.45mm silicone coated fiberglass fabric is woven in satin weave. Its basic cloth is e-glass 430g/m2 fiber glass fabric. Silicone can be one side coated or two side coated, usually 40g, 60g, 80g, 100g per side. This one is coated with 75g/m2 red silicone on two sides, total weight is 580g/m2 and 0.45mm thick.
E-glass fiberglass fabric is fire resistant, oil/chemical resistant and tear resistance. Silicone coating provides better electrical insulation and abrasion resistance.
The basic fiberglass fabric can be used at temperature below 550℃ continuously. Silicone coating can resist heat below 260℃. Silicone coated fiberglass fabrics are mainly used to produce removable thermal insulation jacket, fire/welding blanket, fabric expansion joints, hot tunnel curtain, pipe anti corrosion, etc.
