Waterproof Fire Resistant PVC Coated Fiberglass Fabric For Flexible Air Ducting
PVC coated fiberglass fabric is made of basic cloth - woven fiberglass cloth coated with PVC on two sides. The 200g/m2 fiberglass cloth is woven in plain weave and 17.3/13 per cm thread count. With 40gsm grey PVC on each side, total weight of coated fabric is 280g/m2 (about 8.3oz/yd2). PVC coated fiberglss fabric is special because of its waterproof and fire resistant properties. Fiberglass fabric also has features like abrasion resistance, tear resistance, anti aging and chemical resistance.
The basic e-glass fiberglass fabric is able to withstand heat below 550℃, and PVC coating can be used below 260℃. For its properties, this coated fiberglass cloth is widely used in many industrial fields.
