This thermal insulation materials - 1050g/m2 silicone coated fiberglass fabric is coating the basic 850g e-glass satin weave fiber glass fabric with grey color silicone coating on two sides. Coating weight is 100g per side so total weight of silicone coated fabric is 1050g/m2. This 0.85mm satin weave silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a heavy duty and high strength heat insulation material.
Silicone coating has features like electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. It improves the properties of fiberglass fabric. Basic 850g/m2 fiberglass fabric can withstand heat below 550℃ continuously, silicone coating is able to resist heat from -50 to 260℃.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is mainly used for industrial thermal insulation application includeing fire blanket, welding blanket, engine heat insulation, jacketed vessel insulation covers and removable thermal insulation jacket.
