0.7mm Silicone Fiberglass Fabric For Welding Blanket Thermal Insulation Jacket
0.7mm silicone coated fiberglass fabric is made of basic cloth - 660g/m2 e-glass fiber glass fabric coated with 150g/m2 grey silicone per side. Total weight is 960g/m2, about 28.3oz. Fiberglass cloth is woven in satin weave. It is a heat resistant and heavy duty material. Silicone coating imporves its electrical insulation, non irritating and chemical resistance.
Its basic fiberglass fabric can withstand heat from -50 to 550℃. And silicone coating can be used below 260℃ heat. Based on its other properties, main application of this fabric is welding fire blanket. Also, it is widely used for thermal insulation like removable insulation jacket and fabric expansion joints.
