4oz 27" Marine Fiberglass Cloth Surfboard Boat Yacht Building Repair
To glass a surfboard, this 4oz together with 6oz and 8oz e-glass fiberglass fabric are common used materials. 6522 fiberglass fabric is 125g/m2 (4oz/yd2) and 0.12mm thick. It is woven in plain weave in 9.6 / 8.7 thread count. This light weight material can be used below 550℃ continuously.
This fiberglass cloth is durable and tear resistant, also it is easily be wet out by most resins. Besides, it has properties like flame resistant, anti corrosion, anti aging, UV, weather. Another inportant feature is that it is electrical insulation. So it can be used for electrical wire warp material.
