Surfboard fiberglass fabric is one of Unionfull Insulation's main prodcuts. 4oz and 6oz fiberglass cloth are most common used specification. Compared with S-glass fiberglass. e-glass cloth is very cost effective but still high strength enough. This light weight 4oz glass fabric roll is usually used for shortboard production.

When glass a surfboard, fiberglass cloth is always be used in combinations of serveral layers. For example, surfboard builders often lay 2 layers of 4oz fibre glass fabric on the deck of board. And lay one layer on the buttom. When they need more strength they use two layers fibreglass cloth on the bottom too. This light weight but high strength fiberglass fabric can keep the weight of surfboard down but remain its strength.

4oz e-glass fabric is weighed at 125g/m2. 0.12mm thick glass fabric is woven in plain weave. Density of 4oz fiberglass fabric is different around the world.
