Fiberglass woven cloth is a high strength and fire resistant material. It will be coated with different compound to meet various application requirements. One material of welding flame blanket is Acrylic coated fiber glass fabric. Common used specification is 490gsm totally (430g/m2 basic fiber glass cloth and 30/30 gsm on two sides). With coating, the fiberglass material have better fabrication property.
100% without asbestos fiberglass cloth is weighed at 430g/m2 and it is woven in a cross twill weaving type called 4H satin. Standard width of this Acrylic coated fabric is 100cm. Length is 50 meters one roll.
This lightweight but durable, fire resistant glass fiber cloth is abrasion resistant, corrosion resistant and electrical insulated. Continuous work temperature of fiberglass fabric is 550℃. Acrylic coating is able to withstand heat below 260℃. This coated glass fabric will be used as welding blanket, fire safety shield and pipeline protection isulation.
