PTFE fiberglass conveyor belt is made of basic glass fiber open mesh fabric impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Mesh size can be 1mmx1mm, 2mmx2.5mm, 4mmx4mm and 10mmx10mm. 4x4mm is widely used specification. Fiberglass open mesh is a very high strength and abrasion resistant material, which is suitable for durable conveyor belt usages. For weave, there are single weft fiberglass mesh conveyor belt and double weft fiberglass mesh conveyor belt. Double weft belts with higher tensile strength. It is used for most industrial conveyor application.
Fiberglass mesh is fire resistant. Its working temperature is short term up to 300°C and 260°C continuously. The basic mesh is able to withstand 550℃. Fiber glass mesh belt can keep stable dimension under continuous heating. What's more, mesh belt is chemical resistant, durable, light weight and non toxic. Industrial fiber glass conveyor belts are used in various fields like industrial electroplating and food industry. Due to the low adhesion of PTFE coating, this belt is non stick and easy to clean.
