4OZ E Glass Surfboard Fiberglass Cloth Plain 27" Wide 100M White High Strength

4oz e-glass fiberglass cloth is a light-weight, flame resistant material which is woven in plain. Fiberglass cloth is flexible and durable. It is easy to fabricate. High strength 4oz, 6oz, 8oz are common used specification for surfboard fiberglass laminating. E-glass fabric is a economical woven fabric with enough strength and it is able to keep the surfboard at low weight. Besides, this fabric is oil&chemical resistant, abrasion resistant, anti corrosion and electrical insulation.

When do the glassing, sevaral layers of e-glass fiber glass fabrics are applied to the surfboard deck. Typically there are 3 layers: two layers on the top and one on the bottom. Standard width of 4oz e-glass fiberglass woven cloth is 27.5 inches (70cm), which is suitable for shortboard laminating. Roll length of 4oz and 6oz fabric is 100 meters standard.

Density or yarn count of fiber glass cloth will be a little different between different customers. 4oz fiber glass cloth is produced based on a USA fabric data sheet.
