Silicone coated fiber glass fabric is ideal material for fire smoke curtains. Fiberglass cloth is a heat&flame resistant woven cloth. With different coating on single side or two sides, the coated cloth is able to meet different thermal insulation applications requirements. Basic fibre glass woven fabric can withstand continuous heat below 550℃, coated fabric is able to be used below 260degree Celcius. Whats's more, the silicone fiberglass cloth is oil&chemical agents resistant, abrasion resistant and electrical insulated.
28.3 oz/sq.yd grey silicone coated fiberglass fabric is made of 660gsm 8H satin e-glass fiberglass fabric coated with 300g/m2 grey silicone coating on two sides. This 960gsm coated fabric is very heavy duty. But it is still enough flexible to be fabricated. Final usages of this fabric includes fire blanket, smoke curtains, removable insulation jacket and fabric expansion joint. This high temperature cloth is also used in other industrial insulation fields.
