Fiber glass cloth impregnated with silicone coating is always used for fire&welding blanket materials. Woven fiberglass fabric is high strength, flexible, heavy duty and ideal fire resistant. With silicone rubber on both sides, the coated glass fabric owns excellent abrasion resistance, electrical insulation and oil resistant. Besides, coated fabric is easy to fabricate and there is no fraying on the cutting edges.
Fiberglass cloth can withstand continuous heat below 550℃. Silicone coated should be used below 260℃. This 31oz grey silicone coated fiber glass fabric is widely used in industrial thermal insulation fields. Its basic cloth 3784 fiberglass cloth is heavy duty, woven in 3x1 twill weave with 8/6 per cm thread count. Its total weight is 1050g/m2 and it is 0.85mm thick.
