Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric 0.65MM 960GSM Satin Grey Fire Welding Blanket
E-glass fiberglass fabric is a heat resistant and high strength cloth, with rubbery silicone on two sides, the coated glass fabric is widely used material of fire welding blanket. The basic fiber glass cloth is woven in satin weave and it is weighed at 660g/m2. With 300g/m2 coating on two sides, its total weight is 960g/m2. Standard widht of coated fabric is 50m one roll. Width is 1000mm.
Basic fibreglass fabric can withstand continuous heat below 550℃, silicone coated glass fabric is able to be used below 260degree centigrade. Besides, silicone coated fabric is oil&moisture resistant, chemical resistant, abrasion resistant and easy to fabricate. Due to its thermal insulation properties, this coated fabric is commonly used as the outer layer of removable thermal insulation jackets to protect from moisture and the outdoor environment. High temperature coated fiberglass fabrics are also frequently used in fire blankets or welding curtains to protect workers and equipment from heat and flame.
