High temp heat insulation blanket material - silica fabric with 80-90% SiO2 content can withstand continuous heat below 700℃ (1300℉). It is widely used in industrial heat insulation fields when e-glass fiberglass cloth (550℃ heat resistance) can't meet the thermal insulation requirements. Besides, 800gsm abrasion resistant but flexible silica cloth is easy to fabricate. It is an ideal material for welding fire blanket and other high temperature heat insulation covers.
600gsm, 18oz silica fabric is 0.7mm thick. Standard width of this silica fabric is 91.44cm (36 inches). Due to silica fabric's great physical&chemical properties, high temperature thermal insulation, silica cloth is widely used for machine, welding, fire blanket, removable thermal insulation&electrical insulation and oven heat insulation.
