Removable insulation jackets is designed to protect devices from harsh environmental conditions and various vibrations. Insulation cover also provide protection against freezing and overheating. Insulation jacket is made of silicone coated fiberglass fabric and e-glass needled mat.
 
Typically when removed from components such as gate valves, steam traps and wye strainers due to component maintenance or repair, these components are usually never reinsulated again. But removable design insulation jacket is reusable and easy to install&remove. It is manufactured to insulate equipments including but not limited to gate valves, globe valves, check valves, PRVs, steam traps, unions, flanges, etc.
 
Besides, cold insulation jackets prevent energy waste. This jacket with external heat sources will warm the chilled pipes. Unionfull jackets are moisture resistant and can prevent pipe sweating, which helps prevent corrosion and dangerous wet areas.

IR Test
IR Test result of removable jacket showed that when the temperature in equipment goes up to 300℃ continuously, the surface temperature of jacket is around 35℃.
