Amorphous silica glass fibre needled mat is carded into high volume heat resistant mat, which is mechanically needled to bond the fibers together without any bonding agents. The needled felt roll has excellent thermal and acoustic insulated features. The needle system and silica fibre diameter improve the needle mat with high air permeability, high density, chemical resistant and acoustic absorption. The high SiO2 content makes the felt improved compactness, flexibility and thermal insulation.
High silica needle mats can be used below 1800℉ continuously. Its features include low coefficient of thermal conduction, low heat shrinkage and eco-friendly. This materials is able to be recycled. This high silica needle mat is 100% fiber glass, non-asbestos and not toxic.
