260℃ Heat Insulation 3732 0.45mm Red Color Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric
Fiber glass fabric is a light material which has high tensile and compressive strength. The silicone coating offers abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, meanwhile it is capable of withstanding the high temperatures 260℃.
UPSE-8732D160 is double-sides coating fabric, which is coated 160g silicone rubber on the 3732 basic fabric, and total weight 590g/m2.
Due it's excellent heat insulation property, silicone coated fiberglass is widely used to make security product like fire blanket/welding blanket etc.
Classified by raw material composition:
(1) Alkali-free fiber (commonly known as E-glass): The R2O content is less than 0.8%, which is an aluminoborosilicate component. Its chemical stability, electrical insulation properties and strength are very good. Mainly used as electrical insulation materials, glass fiber reinforced materials and tire cords.
(2) Medium alkali fiber(C-glass): R2O content is 11.9%-16.4%. It is a kind of soda-calcium silicate component. Because of its high alkali content, it can not be used as electrical insulating material, but its chemical stability and strength are still good. Generally used as latex cloth, woven fabric substrate, acid filter cloth, window material substrate, and the like.
(3) High alkali fiber: A glass component having an R2O content of 15% or more. For example, glass fiber drawn from raw materials such as broken flat glass and broken glass. It can be used as waterproof and moisture-proof materials for battery separators, pipe wrapping cloths and mats.
