Unionfull's Silicone coated fiberglass fabric present outstanding dimensional stability as well as superior thermal resistance. The silicone coating extend life of the fiberglass fabric, and it provides greater oil & water resistance than uncoated fiberglass fabric ,meanwhile it is capable of low smoke and flame retardation.
UPSE-8732D80 is double sided coating fabric, each side coated with 40g silicone rubber. As the basic weight is 430g/m2, so the total weight is 510g/m2 after coating.
This kind of fabric can be used for makeing fire blanket, welding curtain, since it absorbs a large amount of heat when it is burned by a flame and prevents the flame from passing through and isolating the air.
