Process Description
The horizontal continuous casting process begins with electrolytic copper loaded into the 250kW medium frequency melting furnace. After composition adjustment, molten copper transfers to the holding furnace, then flows into the mold for cooling crystallization. The system features secondary cooling with real-time temperature and pressure monitoring, PLC-controlled traction cycles, and synchronized cutting for consistent slab production.
