Process Description
The nickel cupronickel strip horizontal continuous casting process begins with electrolytic copper loaded into the medium frequency melting furnace. After composition adjustment, the molten material transfers to the holding furnace, then flows into the mold for primary cooling and crystallization.
The strip undergoes secondary cooling before reaching the dummy machine, shearing machine, and coiling machine. Advanced PLC controls manage the push-pull cycles, with real-time monitoring of water temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure optimal crystallization conditions and product quality.
