FEATURES and USAGE

It is soluble in water.

It is dark purple when soluble in dense sulphuric acid, and releases sulphur dioxide, it produces precipitate after diluting;

It is blue in sodium hydroxiole solution. It is dark blue in sodium sulfide solution. It is used for dyeing on cotton, jute, viscose and leather.
